Children’s Library
The Children’s Library has several programs, events and services for kids and families. Children and Teens can take part in summer learning programs, afterschool programs, and more! The library has program for children of all ages including babies, toddlers and preschoolers. The library also strives to support parents, caregivers and teachers in their work with kids.
Family Storytime
There are five simple practices to get kids ready to read: talking, singing, reading, writing and playing. This program that encourages the development of pre-reading skills through songs, rhymes, fingerplays, and stories.
After School Crew (K-5th)
Crafting, building, making, and playing with books and a snack thrown in.
Summer Reading
The Summer Reading Program usually begins in late May and runs through August with various activities throughout!
Technology
The Children’s Library includes a teen computer lab, early literacy computers, an interactive floor system, and Thinktank including much more!
