The library has a number of collections that are available online. Check out an audiobook, eBook, or magazine, download or listen to music, or learn a language, 24/7. You will need a valid Sanibel Public Library card to access these collections.

E-books

OverDrive eBooks: To sign in to Sanibel OverDrive, enter your library card barcode and PIN. (Your PIN is the last 4 digits of your library card.) This collection is hand-selected and built from the ground up with a focus on quality selections that meet the diverse reading and listening preferences of the Sanibel community. This collection can be enjoyed on your computer (PC or Mac) or transfer the title to a compatible eBook reader (including Kindle, Nook, Sony, iPad, and iPod Touch). Check out a maximum of 10 books at a time for up to 14 days. No overdue fees; books are automatically returned to the library at the end of lending period. Hoopla: Access thousands of ebooks, comics, audiobooks and music albums all available for mobile and desktop use. Digital content from Hollywood studios, major-label record companies and publishers can be borrowed for instant streaming to smartphones, tablets, and computers, or for temporary downloading to smartphones and tablets. Note: Streaming requires continuous access to an Internet connection via wireless, ethernet, or cellular data plan. Languages

Mango: An online language learning system that teaches real conversation skills for practical communication.
