Your library is still here for you! The Sanibel Public Library is committed to providing patrons access to online resources and safe access to physical materials – with safety to both our patrons and staff our utmost concern.
Hours for curbside pickup will be Mondays through Fridays from noon to 3 pm.
Place your item(s) on hold online or request items by calling the Library at (239) 472-2483. You will be notified when your items are ready for pickup. Once you’re contacted, you will have three days (excluding Saturday and Sunday) to pick up your items.
Please pick up between noon and 3 PM, Monday through Friday:
-Drive into the parking garage. Put your vehicle in park. -You will see a table set up outside the first sliding door entrance.
-The bags will be on the table in alphabetical order.
-Your items will already be checked out and placed in a green bag with your name on it.
Pick up your bag with your borrowed books and library material, there is a handout with information about returning your items, and other current Library services.
Please return items to a book drop. Returned materials will be
quarantined for a minimum of 24 hours. Staff will be answering general questions and providing Readers’ Advisory (book recommendations) over the phone, call (239) 472-2483.
