Family Storytime! where literacy is a family bonding experience. Miss Megan will sing, read, question, and move around during the stories, followed by early literacy centers of play to flex minds, motor skills, and creativity; this includes an art/craft center. The storytime portion is approximately 20 minutes with centers going as long as needed. Babies to age 5-ish.

This program is designed for children and their accompanying caregiver. Please plan to attend and be engaged with your child for this program. Drop offs will not be permitted.

Sanibel Public Library is collecting donations for F.I.S.H. to use for Easter Baskets.

Baskets will be distributed by F.I.S.H. to local families during the first week of April, please drop off donations to the Library by Saturday, April 1.

Bring a new, unopened candy to the Library, or other items to decorate baskets, such as:

Baskets
Easter Grass Basket Filling
Chocolate eggs
Chocolate Bunnies
Reese’s Easter Eggs
Jellybeans
Cookies
Peeps
Easter Egg M&Ms
Candy Bars
Sour Patch Kids
Lollipops
Coloring Books

Socks
Small Stuffed Animals
Bubbles & wands
 
Donation Basket will be located near the Children’s Area.

 

Want to assemble Easter Baskets to be donated to F.I.S.H.? Come to the Sanibel Public Library’s Children’s Area from 11 am ’til 3 pm on Saturday, April 1 to build-a-basket!  

 

The public is invited to these Library Programs. There is no registration required and no additional cost to participate.

 

While attending library programs, visitors may be photographed by library staff. Photographs become library property and may be used in library promotions. Individuals who do not want to be photographed or recorded are responsible for removing themselves from the area or notifying the photographer of their opt-out status.
