After you send the completed form, you’ll get an email with a few book suggestions. You can also stop by for help, or call the Library at (239) 472-2483, or send an email to notices@sanlib.org.
You can also try NoveList Plus — a book recommendation resource accessible anywhere to all Sanibel Public Library card holders. The database provides information on most book titles, including series info, reviews, and a basic description. Additionally, you can see read-alikes for titles, authors, and series. Its unique story elements like appeal, genre, and theme help you understand what features you love in books. NoveList Plus is directly connected to our library’s catalog.

The Library posts current lists of New York Times bestsellers for fiction and nonfiction, to help guide patrons. Look for the bestseller lists in the New Books shelves, or ask staff for help.
Sanibel Public Library is open to the public and also offering the popular contactless curbside service. To use the service, place items on hold online, or make requests by calling the Library at (239) 472-2483. You will be notified when your items are ready for pickup.
