As Sanibel Public Library continues its renovation project, “Your Library Reimagined,” the facility will be closed to the public from Friday, September 21 through Tuesday, September 25. Crews will be delivering and installing book shelves and other large furniture during that time.

This temporary closure will allow work to be expedited while maintaining safety to the public. Library staff will be working during that time, and will be answering the phone, patrons should call (239) 472-2483 if they need assistance. There will not be overdue fines assessed for materials returned late during this time. The book drop is located outside of the building to allow patrons to return DVDs, magazines, books, and any other library material.

The weekly children’s programs have been cancelled during this time, check the calendar online at sanlib.org for the dull schedule of upcoming events.
